During my Junior year of high school (Yes, I can actually still remember back that “far”), a memorable math teacher of mine came up with the great idea of watching one of the NFL playoff games as a good math lesson. I remember that he asked me which team I would be rooting for. I looked him straight in the eye and stated, “Go Lakers!”. I thought he would faint right then and there. I was joking, of course…but he didn’t know that.
So since then, (and even though I’m a Bronco fan) I’ve always had a “soft spot” for his team, Dallas Cowboys. Football fanatics will say that you can’t do those things, but I use the excuse that hey, “I’m a girl” and I can do just about anything I please. So I was really rooting for the Cowboys today. However, even with a couple interceptions in hand, the Cowboys took flight…and well, flapped back down to earth winless….again. It was admittedly, disappointing.
So, Mr. Iglesias, Go Lakers?!!
