Sacrifices

The stories have been rolling around in my mind and I’ve even written whole entire blogs in my mind. Somehow, though, they never made it to the computer to put into blog form. I also had a BOM story I wanted to share…but as much as I rake my (miserably limited) memory, I can’t seem to remember it. Dang it.

So I suppose that all the bad luck that has happened to me lately is prolly because of my lack of attention to this blog. So I officially present this post to the Blog gods. Take this post, Oh literature-worthy ones, and please put the micro sd card that had (oh just) a year’s worth of research back into my flash drive. You needn’t wrap it up or even make a big show of putting it back. I will calmly close my eyes tonight and wake up tomorrow morning without even so much as glancing at my now empty flash drive. I will calm the irritation I have felt since I noticed the little black chip missing almost 24 hours ago. I won’t even let myself feel any pessimism as I slide my little, precious, translucent flash drive into the computer port. 10 a.m. tomorrow morning sound good to you? Great, it’s a date.

Oh…and since we’re on the topic…can you give me back my date to my Military Award’s Banquet this weekend? Yunno, just so I won’t have to go pathetically stag. He needn’t even be the original one. But if I get to choose, someone as cute as the original date wouldn’t hurt. Thanks!
